On the 79th Independence Day of India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the National Flag at Delhi's Red Fort. This time, the theme of celebration is Naya Bharat, which highlights governmental expectations to have a developed India by 2047.
Definitely, the first point of action is that the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, MoS Defence Sanjay Seth and Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh receive the Prime Minister, and are then introduced to Lieutenant General Bhavnish Kumar, General Officer Commanding Delhi area.
During the ceremony, Flying Officer Rashika Sharma helped in raising the flag after which Mi-17 helicopters dipped flower petals onto the ramparts. The national flag was flown by one helicopter, whereas the other was flying the operation Sindoor flag, which signifies the power and accuracy of the Indian military.

Operation Sindoor, which was started on May 7 following the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, has been able to neutralize more than 100 terrorists in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, which indicates the preparations of the Indian Armed Forces.
The celebrations were witnessed by 5,000 guests, who included the best-performing farmers, sports achievers, young authors, and volunteers in PM initiatives such as My Bharat. The Naya Bharat logo was created by NCC cadets and volunteers on Gyanpath, and national bands at the 140 sites in the country played at the same time to create a patriotic spirit.

The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign remains to be inspirational with the registration of more than five lakh youth clients making up the youth volunteers this year. Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has expressed that these youths will motivate people towards the Tiranga campaign, which is a campaign nationwide to take the flag in homes, offices, and other places to unite and become stronger and proud as a nation.
The celebrations today expressed national colors of India, which was a display of national pride, the military, and Moukh that carried common national undercurrent notion of progress, patriotism, and resilience.
