The Skill Development Centre has been set up by Mahindra Tractors at the Government ITI College in Gadchiroli, in collaboration with the Department of Vocational Education and Training and the Maharashtra State Skill Development Society.
According to the company, the centre is designed to open new career pathways for aspiring professionals across the automotive sector. It will equip trainees with the skills required for roles in assembly operations, sales, and service enabling them to make meaningful contributions to manufacturing facilities, dealerships, and related industries while strengthening the overall talent ecosystem.
The training curriculum emphasizes practical, hands-on learning through the use of modern technical equipment. Participants will gain in-depth exposure to advanced agricultural machinery and develop a wide range of tractor-specific competencies, including operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
This approach aims to build technical proficiency, enhance employability, and boost productivity within the agricultural and allied sectors.
