The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has sanctioned Rs. 144 crore for the cluster and the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida) will contribute the remaining Rs. 340 crore to the centre. The Electronics Manufacturing Cluster (EMC 2.0) project anchored by Havells has been approved by the Centre and Yeida has started the process of design and infrastructure development in Sector 10.
The estimated project costs around Rs. 484 crore, and will be spread over 206 acres close to the Noida International Airport. This project is expected to be completed by January 31, 2028.

The multinational electrical equipment manufacturing firm in India, Havells, became an anchor investor, allotted 50 acres of land and planning to invest Rs. 800 crore to set up a unit for fans, air conditioners, cables and all other lighting equipment. There will be 66 other industrial plots in this cluster, including in the land of Havells’ and will spread across 106 acres from 1,000 to 32, 375 square meters in size. Of the two large plots, one measures around 44,515 square meters, which has been set for a flatted factory complex of 176 plug-and-play, ready-to-move-in industrial units purpose attracting startups and cost-effective manufacturing spaces for small businesses.
This planned 39-acre of reserved infrastructure includes internal roads, green belts, electrical lines, water supply, drainage, boundary wall and civic amenities like hostel block, commercial centre, convention centre and a skill development hub, stated by the Yeida officials.
