In the case of the construction industry, the plant would be the indicator of the optimism of Ramco in the long run development. The developers are seeking affordable, long lasting and sustainable materials. The central location of Maksi and enhanced logistics will make it a perfect place, as the company will be able to deliver the key regions with ease.
This growth is seen as opportune by industry observers with Ramco set to get a bigger proportion of domestic and export market. As real estate and infrastructure investment increases, the plant must provide jobs in the local area and enhance the manufacturing base of construction-materials in India.
The new Maksi plant highlights the desire of Ramco Industries to expand its operations and satisfy the increasing demand of quality fibre cement products, and to encourage sustainable construction activities in the country.
