9DECEMBER 2025ANDHRA GOVT TARGETS 10,000 CR REVENUE FROM REGISTRATION DEPTThe Adani Group declared tremendous advancement about the current investment in Telangana indicating new impetus in the infrastructural drive of the state.Addressing the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025 in Hyderabad on Monday, the Managing Director of Adani Ports and SEZ Limited, Karan Adani, noted that the group has spent close to 10,000 crore in the state in the last three years since which there has been new development and creation of more than 7,000 jobs.Andhra Pradesh government has set an ambitious revenue target of over 10,000 crore for its Registration and Stamps Department for the fiscal year 2025-26.The state plans to leverage 430 real estate ventures to facilitate approximately 15,570 user-friendly registrations, projected to generate 250 crore in revenue. According to a press release summarising a review meeting chaired by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, "In this financial year Speaking at the summit to the world business and industry giants, Karan Adani indicated that the group has enhanced its alliance with the state of Telangana in projects related to defense manufacturing, green data centers, renewable energy, and cement manufacturing.He pointed out that the Adani Group has established a top defense and aerospace park in Hyderabad which he termed as the first of its kind in the country, which a long endurance UAV manufacturing facility. He says that such UAVs are provided to both the Indian Armed Forces and the international markets where the facility directly employs more than 1,500 youths.Under digital infrastructure, the group is building a green data center in Telangana of 48 MW with investment amounting to 2,500 crore. Another observation by Karan Adani was that the group has developed over 100 kilometers of highways in major districts which have been built in a 4,000 crore investment which enhances connectivity as well as sustaining the livelihoods of the locals.Adani Cement has reinvested more than 2000 crore to support the requirements of the state construction through state-of-the-art manufacturing plant at Ganeshpahad, Tandur and Devapur making its aggregate capacity to be 7 MTPA. (2025-26), a target of earning 10,169 crore revenue through the Registration and Stamps Department has been set. 430 real estate ventures have been identified to implement an action plan to facilitate user-friendly registration."The Revenue Department has received an excessive 5.2 lakh grievances between June 15, 2024, and December 1, 2025, of which 4.5 lakh were resolved, and 73,000 remain under consideration. The release noted that the process of auto-mutation has become faster due to the governance reforms, which were put in place in June and made the process of property transfers and registrations more straightforward.The extensive land survey has been done in 6,693 villages, and the information has been uploaded to Webland 2.0 to improve transparency and accessibility. Besides that, the Revenue Department is reevaluating more than 5.7 lakh acres of assigned land that had been maintained under the freehold regime when the YSRCP regime was in power.The measures are aimed at improving real estate governance, increasing the efficiency of revenue and improving investor confidence. Andhra Pradesh will become the first state to establish a standard in land management and property administration on the state level and become the driver of growth in the real estate and revenue sections with digital tools, streamlined registration processes, and active grievance resolving.
