FEBRUARY, 20269ABB ABILITY OPTIMAX 7.0 LAUNCHES AS SaaS SOLUTIONROLLS-ROYCE TO SCALE OPERATIONS IN INDIA UNDER VIKSIT BHARAT VISIONABB has introduced a cloud-based version of ABB Ability OPTIMAX 7.0, marking a major step forward in digital energy optimization. Today the company announced the new model of software as a service to enable industrial and energy operators to implement and scale tools across complex locations without controlling the on-site infrastructure. ABB ABB Ability OPTIMAX 7.0 has introduced flexibility in the installation, system updates, monitoring and maintenance of systems and has reduced the IT load on the customers. The improved platform introduces the in-built forecasting of artificial intelligence to assist users to forecast energy demand, generation output and pricing patterns. These findings enhance enhanced energy planning, enhanced involvement in energy markets and enhanced grid conformity. The transition to the SaaS form would allow ABB to roll out more quickly and easily manage several facilities. In conjunction with the launch, ABB also introduced ABB Ability Advanced Process Control 7.0 which is meant to enhance the process control with real-time and closed loop. Both solutions are Kubernetes-based, which means that they are deployed automatically, have high availability, scale, and high-level cybersecurity in clouds, at the edges, or in hybrid setups. The systems are linked to the current plant controls through a common digital platform. This enables operators to organize energy and process optimization with safety and reliability of the plants.Gino Hernandez, Head of Global Digital Business at ABB's Energy Industries division, commented "By expanding deployment options and strengthening AI-based capabilities, we are helping customers unlock greater efficiency through ABB's digital technologies.
