Earlier, similar trials had only been conducted on smaller turboprop aircraft. SAEL Industries has begun work on an 8,200 crore solar plant in Jewar, which is likely to boost Indian exports and create immense job opportunities. The project aims to develop manufacturing capacity of 5 GW for solar cells and 5 GW for solar modules.Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that the upcoming solar project will have a significant impact in strengthening India's export capability, thereby advancing the vision of self-reliant India. The Chief Minister further said that the project aims to build a large-scale production capacity in the renewable energy sector. India currently imports the required solar components, particularly from China. India's PCB manufacturing dream is gaining momentum as the government looks to reduce the country's dependence on imports. The PCB manufacturing sector could help India save nearly Rs 40,000 crore in annual imports, according to Union Electronics and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.The move is expected to strengthen the domestic electronics manufacturing ecosystem, increase local value addition, and support India's long-term goal of becoming a global electronics production hub. Speaking at the inauguration of Sahasra Group's new PCB manufacturing facility in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, Vaishnaw said India currently imports printed circuit boards worth around Rs 40,000 crore every year. Stainless Steel could become India's biggest growth story by 2047. As Industry leaders believe Stainless Steel will play a key role in helping India achieve the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision by strengthening manufacturing, improving infrastructure, and supporting clean energy projects.They have urged the government to introduce a national strategy that promotes wider use of stainless steel while encouraging investments, innovation, and capacity expansion. India is already the world's second-largest consumer of stainless steel, producing around 5.16 million tonnes annually. However, industry experts say the country still has significant room to grow.
