Tata Power has outlined a steady annual capital expenditure plan to scale its generation, transmission and distribution footprint.Tata Power said it is aiming for a capex of Rs. 25,000 crore in the current fiscal year and will look to maintain the same annual spend till FY30. According to its investor presentation, the majority of capital expenditure (65percent) being incurred by the group will be for the development of clean energy developments. This shows a strong commitment by the Group to developing renewable and green power assets.Delhivery on-demand intracity delivery has expanded to Mumbai and Hyderabad, marking another step in the company's push to strengthen local logistics in high-demand urban markets.India's leading fully integrated logistics company has rolled out the service through its Delhivery Direct app, offering fast, flexible parcel movement within city limits.With this launch, Delhivery enables users to schedule parcel pickups within 15 minutes of placing a booking. The service is designed to meet the growing need for urgent local deliveries from small businesses, D2C brands, and individual customers who rely on speed and reliability to serve their customers.TOP STORIESThe Delhivery on-demand intracity delivery service connects major commercial hubs and residential neighborhoods across Mumbai and Hyderabad. Customers can select two-wheelers for smaller parcels or opt for three- and four-wheeler vehicles when shipping larger or heavier consignments. End-to-end visibility remains a core feature, with live tracking available throughout the delivery journey.Commenting on the expansion, Nikhil Vij, Head ­ Intracity Business at Delhivery, said, "With the expansion of Delhivery Direct's local on-demand service to Mumbai and Hyderabad, we are extending our promise of speed, reliability, and cost efficiency to two additional high-demand markets. This takes our intracity presence to five major cities, alongside Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad. We remain focused on scaling this service to more cities in line with rising customer demand across the country."The Delhivery Direct app is available on Google Play and the Apple App Store. Beyond intracity services, the app also allows users to book intercity shipments, providing access to deliveries across more than 18,850 pin codes nationwide. In FY25, the Group incurred a total Capital Expenditure (CapEx) amounting to Rs. 17273 Crs, which increased almost twofold (to Rs. 25000 Crs) during FY26. It is expected that during the period FY26-FY30, the Group will be incurring a Total CapEx of Rs.125000 Crs and have budgeted (Rs. 25000Crs per Annum) for CapEx during this period.Praveer Sinha, MD & CEO, Tata Power, said, "We are well poised to achieve our aspirations. From 7 GW of clean and green capacity, we aim to increase it to 20 GW, almost three times, by March 2031."In the power generation segment, Tata Power had a thermal capacity of 15.7 GW in FY25, which it looks to scale up to 30 GW by FY30.The company's transmission line capacity, including operational and under-construction assets, stood at 7,047 circuit kilometres as of FY25 and is targeted to reach 10,000 ckm. In distribution, Tata Power plans to expand its customer base from 12.8 million to 40 million by 2030, with licence applications underway in states such as Goa and Uttar Pradesh, alongside existing operations in Odisha, Delhi, Mumbai and Ajmer.
