The 17-acre Mehsana plant will increase production space to over 50,000 square feet.plan involves new high level manufacturing machines, robotics and automated fettling technology to enhance efficiency and throughput.Reliance Retail stated that it will introduce "essence," the top cosmetics brand in Europe in terms of units sold, to the Indian market. This move will support the nation's top retailer's expanding beauty sector.According to a statement from Reliance Retail, it has partnered with Cosnova Beauty, a multinational cosmetics brand with headquarters in Germany, for exclusive distribution. "The collaboration strengthens RRL's growing beauty portfolio and will introduce essence's vibrant range of high-quality, TOP STORIESaffordable, and cruelty-free makeup products to consumers across India," it said.It will be available on Reliance Retail's integrated omnichannel ecosystem, making the essence range of products accessible across online platforms, beauty stores, and partner retail formats."As the official distributor, RRL will expand the brand's reach across premier beauty destinations throughout India," it said. Established in Germany in 2002, Essence is available in approximately 90 nations. More than 80 percent of its products are produced in Europe.Reliance Retail operates as a subsidiary of Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd (RRVL), the parent company of all retail businesses within the Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) group. The increased casting power will aid the company to serve its clientele globally better.Industrially, the Gujarat expansion plant is a significant step towards the larger plan of PTC to develop an all-inclusive manufacturing ecosystem. The additional capacity will be utilised by the company to contribute to the expansion of industrial, aerospace and defence markets.PTC already manufactures a broad spectrum of precision castings, such as pump casings, valve bodies, and impellers, at the Mehsana plant, to serve the world OEMs. As the company keeps expanding, it can easily scale the production process, enhance the resilience of the supply chain, and bolster its image as a dependable worldwide provider of high-integrity cast components.
