VEDANTA POWER WINS 500 MW PPA WITH TAMIL NADU DISCOMVedanta Power has achieved a 500MW Power Pur-chase Agreement (PPA) with Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited (TANGEDCO), increasing its position in the Indian power industry.The contract which is to be signed by Vedanta in the form of subsidiaries namely Meenakshi Energy Ltd and Vedanta Limited Chhattisgarh Thermal Power Plant (VLCTPP) will provide power to the southern state at a tariff of 5.38 per kWh over a period of five years.BHEL WINS 6,650 CR NTPC ORDER FOR ODISHA POWER PROJECTBharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has announced that it has secured an order exceeding 6,650 crore from NTPC for the implementation of an EPC package at the Darlipali Supercritical Thermal Power Project Stage-II located in Sundargarh district, Odisha.The Notification of Award (NoA) was received on 6 November 2025, and the order encompasses the design, engineering, supply of equipment, erection and commissioning, along with associated civil works for the 1x800 MW supercritical thermal power unit.
